Isn't great when you stumble upon an old CD you haven't listened in a while. That kind of CD you bought years ago and listened sooooo many times, enough to have memories burnt in it. Well, it kind of happened to me, except it was by the grace of my iTunes shuffle and it's only been 6 month I've discovered this band. Anyway, here's some great tunes I have myself hard times to describe. Some kind of 80s psychedelic modern indie sound. The band is called Magic Wands... Now up to you to make your own opinion.

Don't have much to say about this one, just love this song and feel like I gotta post it. Pretty simple, but really great and entertaining. This is to me the best song from the Subways. Like some other bands, their early songs are the best ones. Can't tell why...

Staying in the instrumental section, here's a mind blowing song I discovered in "Fully Flared", from Lakai. What they did with it is, to my opinion, absolutely awesome...

Song title is "Lower your eyelids to die with the Sun" by M83. Another song with a smooth beginning, then comes the drum kicking in, like an heavenly explosion of happiness and glory. The feeling you must have from breaking in through the wall on this song looks simply ecstatic. It's funny though, cause this song was played by my iTunes shuffle when I woke up this morning, and this is straight going into my "morning alarm playlist".

I've been flowed in a wave of Dubstep in the last few weeks, thanks to the girl who brought this to my ears, and here's the best I've gotten out of it.

Mt Eden got me right to the heart with his slow motion deep bass riffs. I particularly like the 54th second of Beautiful Lies, when the bass kicks in. If a picture worth a thousand words, music often does not need any lyrics to be meaningful. I wish theses tunes could be waved underwater, the result would be awesome, probably resulting in some kind of dolphin language.

I strongly suggest you to explode your Equalizer bass frequencies, then, enjoy.

The Hangover

Oh my god, yesterday's was one of those night when you get into the bar with a hundred bucks, then you wake up and wonder why...

I think there's a song for every occasion, that's why I love music! As drugs do amplify your feelings, music can do the same. So here I come with a few songs (I would post them all if I could) of a great band from Montreal that mixed folk, punk and country together to come out with the sound of Yesterday's Ring. As drinking has been part of their life, they are the perfect band to accompany your nights at the barroom... and when you wake up with the best hangover ever (Yes, I do have great hangovers. Every morning I wake up and still drunk, I feel accomplished and like last night was a great night). You know, when you feel feed up by the life, but you remember (or sometimes not...) the good times you just had drinking with your good friends, and you have that mix of whiskey and nostalgia that flow through your veins. So here are a few of my favorite hangover songs.
