Necro: Keep It Sweet and Simple

Ok, so I started listening to Necro a little bit too much lately. That's because of that song, You're Fucking Head Split, from the excellent movie Goon. Although the lyrics are discutable, he can throw some nice beats.  Hey, he keep it to the basics: find a good sample, add some rythm and loop it around. Oh, and the video is pretty nice ;)

What the Hell is This?

I just found a cool track while shuffling some Chip Tunes. Then, I looked over Youtube to check if there was a cool clip, and I found this:

I must admit I really like.

Late Night Dark Dance

Even if I prefer good times to bad times, there is something appealing about the dark side of twisted minds. Sometimes, the idea of an happy ending isn't entertaining. And if you understand me here, you'll get that it does not have to be associated with depression or sadness. It's like being the bad guy, who's still haunted by his strange and dark past. I think the motivational poster summarize it well.

First, a great remix of Paradise Circus

This one has something hypnotizing. Maybe the drums.

Finally, the band who describe Dark Dance the best to me. If you like that stuff, I strongly encourage you checking out for more She Wants Revenge (especially the first and second album).

Hip-Hop Instrumental Reinvented

It first began with ASAP Rocky - Palace.

Then I noticed that name between the brackets: Clams Casino. And curiously, it appears on every best tracks from the Mixtape LiveLoveA$AP.

I had to check out who was this guy. The results are astonishing.

Enjoy.

Katalyst

I have no idea who's this guy, just tumbled upon it, and it sounds great. Good potential here.

This.Will.Destroy.You.

I absolutely like Explosions in the Sky, but that clip (not even made by the band) is seriously awesome. If you like Explosions & Post-Rock as I do, you need to check this out.

Young & Reckless Present.. BENZI & DJ E-V | Reckless Wobbles by BENZI

Shuffling of the day

Once again, I found back two little treasury in a row on a shuffling session that worth sharing with you. Prepare to chill out.

iPod shuffling

It's always nice to find back little treasury when shuffling on your iPod. Here's my discovery of the day, some hard electro remix of Death From Above 1979.

Edit: Keeping shuffling brought me back another great track, which I must share with you.

Atmosphere

This guy totally reinvented rap. He have one of a kind flow and his beats are perfect. Here's one of his latest track, plus older stuff that totally get me chillin' down that road.

Polish Girl

Back from Philadelphia, celebrated New Years Eve there. We went to that kind of dirty club, The Roxxy (take a look at these pics if you wanna know how dirty it can be), but pretty cool in the end. I mean, I think it's fairly justifiable to let loose some times, whatever it implies (supposing you're not hurting other people feelings), and the people going down to that club knows of to do it (except for some occasional fights you don't want to get involved to...).

Oh, and by the way, if you think making believe you're from Poland to some chicks is a good ice breaker, make sure they are not from Poland first... This left me stuck with Polish Girl from Neon Indian all the way back home. Happy New Year!
